Designed for young players, this sleeve covers the calf and the shin. At the front, four support bands are spread across the shin; at the back, a woven X-shaped support follows the calf. The compression is snug without being overly tight.

Buy it as a single sleeve, for one leg, or as a pair, for both.

The support zones

The sleeve is not knitted uniformly. Two zones are knitted tighter than the rest of the fabric:

  • At the front: four support bands are spread along the length of the shin, an area under heavy strain from running, landings and changes of direction. They add support where compression alone is not enough.
  • At the back: the X-shaped support covers the calf, crosses below the muscle and extends towards the Achilles tendon.

In between, the knit stays soft and breathable.

How to position it

Front view of the sleeve on the right leg: the top edge just below the back of the knee, the four support bands on the shin, the bottom of the sleeve just above the ankle.

  • The top edge sits just below the back of the knee, lying flat, without rolling or folding it.
  • The four bands run along the shin, on the front of the leg.
  • The cross of the X sits where the calf meets the Achilles tendon.
  • The bottom of the sleeve ends just above the ankle.
The benefits of compression

During training

  • Less muscle vibration with every stride, landing and strike of the ball.
  • A supported feel when running, planting and changing direction.
  • Comfort right to the end: the breathable fabric lets heat escape and the sleeve stays in place.

After training

  • Legs that feel less heavy when the sleeve is worn after exercise.
  • A more relaxed return to the next training session when sessions and matches come thick and fast.

This sleeve is a comfort and support accessory, not a medical device. It does not replace the shin guard, which remains mandatory in matches. In case of pain or injury, consult a healthcare professional.

Size guide

Measure your calf at its widest point, with the leg relaxed.

  • S: 26 to 30 cm
  • M: 30 to 34 cm
  • L: 34 to 38 cm
  • XL: 38 to 42 cm

If your measurement falls exactly between two sizes, choose the smaller one: the compression will be more effective.

Care instructions

To preserve the sleeve's elasticity, hand washing in cold water is ideal. It can also go in the washing machine, like your football kit: 30 °C maximum, inside out and without fabric softener.

To dry, lay it flat in the open air; do not tumble dry. Do not iron, do not bleach, do not dry clean.

Four bands on the shin

The sleeve is not knitted uniformly. On the front, four support bands are spread along the length of the shin, an area under heavy strain when running, landings and changes of direction come one after another.

They add support where compression alone is not enough, without being overly tight: movement stays free. The sleeve does not replace the shin guard, which remains mandatory in matches.

  • Knitted into the fabricThe support zones are part of the fabric: nothing is glued or sewn on.
  • Designed for the pitchRunning, landings, changes of direction: the bands go with every stride.

A woven X-shaped support

At the back, two bands cross over the calf to form an X, which extends towards the Achilles tendon. Together with the bands at the front, support is spread all the way around the leg.

Between the support zones, the knit stays soft and breathable. The compression is snug: you can feel it, but it is not overly tight.

  • Four sizesFrom S to XL, for calf circumferences from 26 to 42 cm, to keep up with growth.

The FUT PROTECT story

My name is Guillaume, and I am the dad of two football-mad children.

Every week, I watch them go from training to matches to tournaments. As the season goes on, fatigue builds up in their legs, and with it, the desire to play can start to fade.

I looked for simple, comfortable kit that would support them during exercise without changing anything about their game. That is how FUT PROTECT was born.

The calf and shin sleeve is our first piece of kit. Two others are already in development, again designed for young players.

Our goal: to help young players train and play in good conditions, season after season.

Guillaume, founder

Milann's feedback, U13/U14

What the players say

« I really loved it. At first, the tightness bothered me a bit, but in the end I didn't feel any discomfort at all: my leg felt really light and I could feel the difference between my two legs. »
ClémentU13/U14 player
« So good, I couldn't even feel them. After 1 hr 30 of fitness training, no discomfort or tiredness in my lower legs. It felt like I couldn't feel my legs when I was running, they were really light. »
MilannU13/U14 player, founder's son

Feedback from young club players collected in September 2026, during the test phase in training, before the product went on sale. Sleeves were lent for the test, with the agreement of parents and club coaches.

Your questions

What you need to know before ordering.

Another question? Write to us

How do I choose the size?

Measure your calf at its widest point, with the leg relaxed, then check the size guide.

If your measurement falls exactly between two sizes, choose the smaller one: the compression will be more effective. If in doubt, send us your measurement and we will confirm the size.

How do I position the sleeve correctly?

Put it on by rolling it up the leg, without pulling on the edge. The top edge sits just below the back of the knee, lying flat, without rolling or folding it; the bottom of the sleeve ends just above the ankle.

Then check the two support zones: at the front, the four bands run along the shin; at the back, the cross of the X sits where the calf meets the Achilles tendon, where the calf narrows.

It can be worn in training, in matches or after exercise, on its own or under match socks.

Does the sleeve replace a shin guard?

No. It is a compression garment: it supports you during exercise, it does not absorb impacts. Shin guards remain mandatory in matches.

Where are they made?

The sleeve was designed in France. I started from what I saw on the touchline, wrote the specifications — the four sizes from 26 cm calf circumference, the two support zones, the material — and had it made by a specialist workshop in Asia.

I could not find a European workshop able to produce this type of knit in children's sizes at a price that stays affordable for families. That is the choice I made to be able to bring the product to market.

How do I care for them?

Hand washing in cold water is ideal. They can also go in the washing machine, like your football kit: 30 °C maximum, inside out and without fabric softener.

Dry flat, in the open air; do not tumble dry. Do not iron, do not bleach, do not dry clean.

How do I place an order?

Choose your size on the sleeve's product page, add it to your cart, then open your cart to confirm the order.

Payment is then made on a secure page, where the available payment methods are shown. Prices on the website include all taxes and are shown in euros in France and the European Union, and in your own currency in the other countries we deliver to. Delivery costs are added before final confirmation.

How does delivery work?

We deliver to France, the European Union and around fifteen other countries, within 6 to 12 working days after your order is confirmed.

France: €8.80, free for orders of €44 or more. European Union: €22. Other destinations: €29. These rates are displayed in euros in France and the European Union; elsewhere, they are shown converted into your currency. The exact amount appears in the cart, before payment.

As soon as your order ships, you receive an email with the tracking number.

The size isn't right — what should I do?

To avoid mistakes, measure the calf carefully before ordering and follow the size guide. If in doubt, send us your measurement: we will confirm the size.

We do not offer size exchanges. If the size does not fit, you have 14 days after receipt to return the item at your own cost: we refund you, and you can then order the right size. Full conditions are set out in our returns policy.

Does the sleeve replace medical advice?

No. It is a comfort and support accessory, not a medical device. In case of pain or injury, consult a healthcare professional.
